CE Tours has years of experience working with students, and we understand the challenges that come with preparing for college and also life after college. Our comprehensive workshops are designed to help students gain confidence and knowledge to make informed decisions for their future. We provide a personalized approach to learning and provide an interactive environment that encourages students to ask questions, share ideas, and engage with their peers.

We have subject matter experts, across the country, that cover a variety of topics that are critical to the development of underserved student populations. These are topics that our students often may not be exposed to at school or at home, such as financial literacy, entrepreneurship, cultural history, job/career prep, STEM, various life skills topics, and much more. Our expert instructors are trained and experienced in these topics, and typically come from similar backgrounds as the students you serve.

We offer single-day workshops, which usually last from 3-4 hours and cover a singular topic. We also offer multi-day workshops, which cover several topics with a subject and could be held weekly or monthly during the program year.

Our workshop topics include:

Engineering: Our team of experts will provide students with a deep understanding of the complexities of engineering and the multiple steps required to become a successful engineer. We can cover math, physics and computer science, all important subjects for a career in engineering. In addition, we can introduce students to successful engineers who will share their real-world experiences and help students envision their own path to success. The knowledge and skills gained through our engineering workshops will give students a significant advantage when pursuing their chosen career path. 

Finance: We will cover topics such as how to create and stick to a budget, the importance of saving and investing, and how to manage debt. We believe that these skills are crucial for anyone looking to achieve their goals, whether it be saving for a dream vacation or starting their own business. Our experienced instructors will provide practical tips and hands-on activities to ensure that students leave with a better understanding of personal finance and the confidence to take control of their financial future.

Entrepreneurship: In this workshop, we will explore the key factors that contribute to entrepreneurial success, including market research, financing, and effective marketing strategies. We will also delve into the importance of resilience, perseverance, and innovation in building a thriving business. Our experienced facilitators will share real-life examples and case studies to showcase successful entrepreneurial ventures and provide actionable insights into overcoming common challenges. Students will come away from this workshop with a deeper understanding of what it takes to start and grow their own businesses, as well as a practical roadmap for turning their ideas into reality

Professional Etiquette:  Our workshops on professional etiquette will cover a wide range of topics, including the right way to network, how to dress for success, and how to conduct yourself in a business setting. We will also teach the importance of effective communication skills, including active listening and respectful dialogue, which are essential for building strong working relationships. By attending our workshops, students will gain the confidence and knowledge needed to excel in their future careers and stand out in the competitive job market. 

Marketing to Employers: As part of our workshop, we can teach students how to effectively market themselves to potential employers. We cover everything from crafting a compelling resume and cover letter, creating a professional social media presence, and showcasing transferable skills to make sure their application stands out. Our workshop will also teach students how to leverage networking opportunities, develop strong interview skills, and communicate their value proposition to prospective employers. By the end of the session, students will be fully equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to successfully market themselves to employers and land the job they’ve always wanted.
