We’ll start on the coast in Southcentral Alaska at Anchorage and then make our way to the Interior, visiting Denali National Park and concluding in Fairbanks. From wildlife to weather, remote wilderness, and Alaska Native culture—we’ll learn the unique challenges that shape Alaskan life, how Alaska became the 49thstate, and why so many people are drawn to the Great Land! Virtual Puerto Rico Experience
Puerto Rico is a part of the US, but a country and culture all its own.
Walk the streets of Old San Juan, marveling at the bright colors, move to the salsa rhythms, and salivate as you hear about some delicious Puerto Rican dishes. Wander up to El Morro, an iconic fortification built by the Spanish, and gaze out at the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Learn how the different bloodlines that make-up Puerto Ricans – Spanish, African, and indigenous Taino – are felt and expressed in their culture through art, music, festivals, and more. Leave the city and head out to the beautiful forests and caves of the countryside. Take a kayak at night on the ethereal Bio Bay.
