German Language Lesson

Take your class on a German language trip of a lifetime with an immersion trip to Germany and Austria. Students will start out this thrilling adventure in Berlin with stops at the historic Berlin Wall, the underground Holocaust Memorial, and Olympiastadion. This trip will include German cities such as Dresden, Potsdam, Munich, and Nuremberg. The thrills will continue in Austria as students visit the Vienna Opera House and Kunsthistorisches Museum. Your student will get to practice their oral and listening skills at activities such as a Viennese dance class, an authentic cooking class, free time at Prater amusement park and shopping at a food market and outlet mall.

• Depart hometown
• Overnight flight to Berlin

DAY 2

• Arrive in Berlin Airport
• Guided Tour of Berlin (Berlin Wall, Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, etc.)
• Visit the Holocaust Memorial (underground)
• Lunch
• Visit Olympiastadion
• Explore Berlin
• Dinner
• Check into hotel

DAY 3

• Breakfast and hotel checkout
• Roman Baths at Sanssouci Park, Potsdam
• Lunch
• Transfer to Dresden, Germany
• Guided tour of Dresden (Frauenkirche, Semperoper, the Zwinger, and River Elbe)
• Dinner and hotel check in

DAY 4

• Breakfast and hotel checkout
• Transfer to Nuremberg
• Visit Documentation Centre Party Rally Grounds (Fascination and Terror)
• Nuremberg Trials Memorial
• Visit Nuremberg Castle and make a stop at Durer´s Rabbit (sculptor Gortz)
• Dinner and hotel check in

DAY 5

• Breakfast and hotel checkout
• Transfer to Munich
• Visit farmer’s market Viktualienmarkt
• Attend a cooking class for lunch
• Visit Olympic Tower
• Nymphenburg Palace and Gardens
• Free time at outlet mall Pasing Arcaden
• Dinner and hotel check in

DAY 6

• Breakfast and hotel checkout
• Transfer to Vienna, Austria
• Lunch
• Guided tour of Austrian Parliament at the Hofburg
• Free time in Stadtpark City Park
• Visit Prater Park
• Dinner and hotel check in

• Kunsthistorisches Museum
• Visit house of music
• Lunch
• Guided tour of Wiener Staatsoper – Vienna State Opera
