Educational Italy: Molto Di Più

This 10-day Italy trip offers “much more”!  Starting in the beautiful seaport of Naples with visits to the archaeological and art museums, the journey considers to the ancient ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, considered by some to be even more remarkable than the city buried under the volcano.  Students continue on to explore politics in the eternal city of Rome, with visits to the iconic sites of Rome and an evening performance at the opera. A country on to itself in the middle of Rome, Vatican City offers some of the most exquisite art and architecture in the world.  On the way to Florence, students will have the opportunity to visit Assisi, best known as the birthplace of St. Francis.  In Florence, home of the Renaissance, students will experience the art, architecture, and drama of the city.  Other highlights of Italian experience include the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa and the magnificent La Scala Opera House of Milan.  Finally, the students travel to the mystery and magic of Venice, the city of canals, with an optional gondola ride on the Grand Canal, before bidding arrivederci.
