Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Tours

For over 25 years, CE Tours has traveled with hundreds of students to Hispanic-Serving Institutions around the country. As a student tour company, we have seen firsthand the impact these visits have on students’ lives. HSIs are important, not only because they provide access to higher education for Hispanic students, but because they also contribute to the social and economic mobility of their communities. In fact, HSIs enroll nearly two-thirds of all Hispanic students in higher education, and they play a critical role in closing the educational attainment gap for this underserved population.

Visiting an HSI can provide students with a unique opportunity to learn about the rich cultural heritage and the contributions of Hispanic Americans, both to their own communities and to the United States as a whole. Students can also learn about the challenges that Hispanic students may face while pursuing a higher education, and they can gain a better understanding of what it means to be an HSI and the importance of these institutions to our society.

At CE Tours, we have curated specialized tours that cater to the visitation of HSIs, in which we allow students to experience the rich Hispanic culture and traditions, visit historic landmarks and engage with university officials and students.
