In this course, students will explore the COVID-19 pandemic from all social and scientific perspectives, reflect on the effects on their communities as well as propose how they want to see the future unfold. The objective is for students to learn about the public health perspective and the methods that public health scientists use to make the world a healthier place. We will also have a workshop for being an ally to BIPOC communities who are disproportionately affected by the pandemic. COVID-19 has separated us physically, but this course will bring young people together to create innovative solutions.
Our Life Skills Courses are taught by live instructors in real time. They use a combination of multi-media, engaging exercises, and breakout sessions to make the greatest educational impact on students.
